Is Florida's Department of Education Getting in the Way of Race in the Classroom?
The course was changed. Some are alleging that the college board may have sanitized the curriculum after communicating with Florida's Department of Education, which the college board denies. So it seems everyone's unhappy, both the people who wanted these classes and the ones who hated them. How and when we talk to kids in an educational setting about race has been such a huge topic of political conversation over the past,. like three to five years in a way that I hadn't seen before.
