A Region Outa Place as a Contribution to Latin American Historiography

The book looks at the development of regional identity and the brazilian northeast. It does so by examining how the region's inhabitants engaged in different international events. The episodes or stories that we're looking at here range from intellectuals and senemotographers to fishermen, from young women that were dating us soldiers to beauty queens. I try to look at a really broad cross section of society.
