The Exit Tax on Superannuation
Superannuation came in with SGC when it became compulsory. But there were super funds of a sort run by the wealthy and they were all full of rots, I think. So he raised that from like bugger all to 30%. But said, if you preserved it and rolled it over, it was tax-free. In 83, pilots went on strike and blockaded Canberra. And kidding, he said, all right, we'll now have pre and post83.
