The Downsides of Z Wave

Zigbee is the open protocol. Z wave is the less open protocol that is open enough to work with all of the open source things but not open enough to make all of the Libra people super happy. So yeah, it's purely a cost related thing. I've got 30 odd Zigbee stuff, Zigbee things that at an average of $30 depending on what it is,. And then if I was to replace all of the Wi-Fi devices that I have, I'd be well into 60, 70 devices that I'd have to replace.
