In mice and birds, the hemoglobin molecule evolves to have a higher affinity for oxygen under these low oxygen conditions. That's one of the natural cases where I think we have good evidence for effects of mutation bias. And again, I don't know how important it will be, but it's definitely something that's going to improve prediction.
