How Can a Senior Engineer Break Into DevOps?
The best example in my career that I've seen of someone breaking into DevOps was the dude who joined me at my previous company. He worked as a bank teller and then, uh, didn't like that and got into IT and was basically just like doing IT admin or likesys admin type work. And he wanted to implement these things on his own but his company wouldn't really let him. That's one of the, one of the better ways to break in. It's just gaining that experience, automating thing and pushing your company to let you automate things.
