The Uncut Version of the First Section
This is folk music at its class-assized best. This was always one of my favorite parts to play, especially because it meant that I didn't have to scamper around the instrument so much anymore. But this passage also for some reason is quite difficult to play together between the soloist and the orchestra. On this recording you'll be able to hear what happens when things fall apart a bit in live performance.
