The Argument That the Popular Vote Doesn't Matter
On the American left in the wake of the election that we just had, this started on election night. And indeed, a couple of days before you saw an argument start to manifest. It took into account both the House and the Senate races. What they were getting at was that the Democrats were very likely to receive more of what they called the popular congressional vote than the Republican counterparts.
