The Inconsistency Between the Primary and Secondary Substances

Postmodernists would probably say the idea that there's body and mind are grand narratives or social construct fictions. Did Barkley collapse everything into one substance mind? Yes. He is kind of crazy in the sense that his empirical idealism is not really a position that anybody really holds to but he's right in this, pointing out this inconsistency between the primary substance and the secondary qualities.
