Vitiligo can occur enough to 2% of the population. It happens when your T cells go bully your melanocytes and then areas of skin wind up with less pigmentation. There isn't a cure for this, but there's laser therapy which can help some folks as can phototherapy with that shorter, but more intense form of light, the UVB rays. Why do some people have brown scalp hair, but red beards? That's one of my favorite things. I was going to say I'm a criminal. Please do not arrest me. How am I ever? I am a weird person.
