There's an idea that men will stay together on this topic and won't actually look at the reality of the situation. Unfortunately, there are so many stories of Black women trying to express and tell their stories of trauma and survivorship. There is this idea that Black women have to be a perfect victim. And even when we are, there isn't the same sort of attention or rallying or outcry when Black women are harmed is when Black men are harmed.
