"I found myself overall deeply frustrated that I agree with the central conclusion, which is that maybe we shouldn't be just like plowing headlong into this," he says. "We keep letting these guys who are fundamentally like gamblers within your capital money really put our society through the ringer without ever doing any research on maybe how social media affects children and all of these different things" He adds: "That's exactly what you're saying, that's sort of this thing that we've been dealing with, probably quite poorly."
