How Much Sleep Do We Need?
Our brain cells resonate at the level of alpha waves, between eight and 12 her when we are awake. And ourselves resonate at the speed of theta waves, between four and eight herds. When we are lost in that zone somewhere between being awake and being slightly asleep, our body and brain cells are experiencing deep sleep. Research has shown that when humans are deprived of rem sleep, it only takes a few days for we become psychotic. Sleep, particularly rim sleep, is critical for our overall health and well being.
