The Importance of Following Trends
I think that social media has built like really reinforced a follow on mentality where people are doing things not necessarily to be original or to make a creative statement, but because that they know other people will like it. But what I think the real formula is, and this has worked for me for a very long time, is to not know what I'm doing at all and to not pretend to know. And then if you're coming at something from a beginner, but then you're working with people who know how to make something as like a domain expert, then you can do really interesting things.
