The Importance of Remembering Your Story

The first time in the Bible we read anything about the writing of the Bible is in Exodus chapter 17. The Lord said to Moses, write this on a scroll as something to be remembered. So why do letters and a story and a poem all affect me differently? Because each type of communication invites me to enter the same story in a different way. One delivers information, another explains information, and still another allows me to feel the weight of that information.
