Self compassion is a good school to work alongside growth mind sets as we try to embrace struggle more in our work places. There are times you are triggered into a fixed mind set, and it could be when you've made a mistake or are criticised. No matter how much you believe that your talents can be developed, at those moments, you feel like your fixed talent has been judged. It's the person who whispers in your ear, don't do this. You're going to humiliate yourself. And i have found, and susan mackie,  has seen her leading company sessions where she has people identify theyre fixed, mineset triggers.
