The Rise and Fall of Crime in New York City

New York has had two iterations of its crime drop. There is the 90s iteration, 93 and starts around 93, 94 when a city has a huge steep plunge in crime. And it's that second drop that's happened over the last 10 years which has totally thrown criminologists for a loop. It makes no sense whatsoever. The numbers are mind boggling. I don't think people in this city appropriately appreciate just what an extraordinary, this is one of the most extraordinary sociological events of the last 100 years.
