Russian Military Personnel Refusing to Fight in Ukraine
Some of the most serious mutinies recently have involved senior Russian officers believe it or not. The 155th Marine Brigade was losing up to 300 men a day as it tried and failed to capture Voulodar which is southwest of Donets. Those refusing to fight seem to be largely from outlying regions where casualty rates are disproportionately much higher than in units recruiting in big cities.
