Strength Training for Distance Runners - Which Days Should Be Easy?

It's always a good idea to lift after running because our running is our main sport. Any strength training that we're doing, whether it's body weight at home or heavier weight lifting in the gym, should be in service of our running. It should complement, supplement and make your running better. If you're so sore or tired from that lifting session, then we need to either reduce the volume or the intensity of your lifting sessions.
