The Infinite Nature of Time

Dogen describes Sato Island as a melancholic place that had been ravaged by mining. He looks out over the coastline and he sees Stormy C stretching out over Sato. And then he looks closely at the sea and it's identical to the Milky Way. So this river that's reaching across the sky from horizon to horizon filled with stars is also Buddha. Time is being and your being is happening in time, yet there are so many ways that we're out of time, out of sync.
