How Did You Learn Korean Cooking When You Were Young?

When I was younger, I started to get like really, really obsessed about Korean food. And it was that moment where I was like, kind of when you find out you're obsessed with learning something. My stepmom who moved in with us when I was around nine or 10, an amazing cook. She would do the same things whenever they were making certain types of kimchi. It's a big part of the baseline for me to know what tastes good - which is a huge part of chefs' training.
