The court has never been totally clear on whether miranda's a constitutional right. The sky is trying to sue and recover damages under 19 83. If you don't mirandize someone, then anything you get post when you should have been mirandized gets excluded from your criminal trial. But there's actually tons of interesting miranda law since 18 70.
