Roller Ball, a Science Fiction Movie

Roller derby has been reimagined as a recreation of the future. The sport was popular in the late 90s and early 2000s on syndicated t v sets. There were several attempts to bring it back, but they went off the rails after three or four seasons. It became more about ripted entertainment rather than actual competition.
