What Was Kahana's Take on Intermarriage?
Kahanna's solution was not about religion per se. The j d l, the duce ofensle, is not about making people orthodox. It's about making people proud to be jews by acting out as jews. And i think that he felt that identity is somehow strengthened by the realization and possibility that if jews are attackedthey're going to fight back.
