The Benefits of Go for Distributed Teams
DEA Go was created to replace Cloud Foundry's Ruby-based droplet execution agent. The DEA is a massively distributed team with contributors from all over the country and Europe. It lends itself to that because it was written in Go and people can quickly jump in, gather contacts in the bar if they need to and start contributing. "Go is kind of like the subset of it's such a small language," he says.
