Microsoft's Acquisition of Yammer
Microsoft bought Yammer in 2012. It was designed to be a social layer around 0365, which is their online word and Excel. And then shortly after the acquisition Slack started the blow up. So Microsoft turned to developing teams as kind of their social layer instead of instead of using Yammer.
