The best memoirs aren't the ones that tied up in the bow. They're not the ones that somehow figure how to tell a story where you look good. The book is so honest, i've met other memoirs writers and they're like, oh, a memir so constructed. I didn't leave myself much artifice. There's very little conflict in someone, from a storyut telling perspective, who is constantly the victim,. It just seems like a very simplified tale to tell. So i approached it from that angle.
