In the build-up to 97, Gordon Brown stuck to Tory income tax plans. Do you think that's what labour will do this time? And do you think they shouldn't, given that the economy isn't growing and they're going to need money? I don't think the first port of call for that is working age people in their income taxes. The big problem in our taxes is we don't tax wealth. People who owned some wealth before the financial crash or just after the financial crash are now four times wealthier than they were. Nobody's done anything to get that huge unearned wealth at all. So let's find a way of taxing it - if we have to raise taxes
