In the last ten years or so in selven valley, it does feel like there's more focus on activism at companies. Where'd that come from? Just out of the sky? Or people felt more guilty they became too rich? You know, i'm not realy sure what the origin of it was, to be honest. But recently, you cited an estimate that if bit coin were priced at two hundred thousand dollars, that about half the world's billionaires would be from crypto. How is that world different? What does it look like? How does it feel different from the world we have? Yes, it's a big question. I mean, i guess the most honest answer...

Brian Armstrong first recognized the potential of cryptocurrencies after witnessing firsthand the tragic consequences of hyperinflation in Argentina. Coinbase, the company he co-founded, aims to provide the primary financial accounts for the crypto economy. Their success in accomplishing this, he says, is due as much to their innovative approach to regulation as it is anything technological.
