Rida moreno's performance in that part is the most, i think, the most memorable thing in west side story. The ppoal girl is like the greatest movie prop of all time. You can't take your eyes off her when she's on the screen. I just re watch america time and time again to watch reda moranolik. And ritbiwas ase. She definitely has the hardest working agent in in the world. But i'm glad for her, because she earned it.
