The Origins of Cricket in New Zealand
New Zealand doesn't have a huge history of cricket coaches, really. It probably only starting about mid 80s with Glyn Turner as a proper sort of coach. But generally, you know, people were appointed on the back of their playing career rather than what they were perceived to be able to offer as a coach. So, I think it had been 20 years by the time we won the title over 20 years. And it was well overdue.
