"I have launched various things this year that didn't sell the way I wanted them to," he says. "When I try something that fails, my thought sometimes is, well, I did that wrong." Wrong doesn't mean anything moral and it's not a comment on his character, but just about what he needed to do in order to get the result he wanted. The idea that having done something wrong, i.e. something failed, means there's something wrong with him or her also conflates business failure with being morally flawed.
