The Importance of Understanding Underfloor Aerodynamics

Red Bull have a better understanding of underfloor aerodynamics on an F1 car than Mercedes. It may just be that Mercedes just don't have that particular knowledge base yet. I'm sure they'll get there, but I wonder if that's part of why they're struggling so much in this new era. And also just very quickly on the Mercedes, don't forget hot temperatures, really hot conditions today. They do better in the cooler conditions.
