I Love Shakespeare's Fine, but I Think That He's Not.
I was in college studying classics. And then after I left college, my Latin began to wither and die. And now it's pretty much worthless. But the reason Shakespeare is big is not just because he's canonical, but because when you stand on a stage and say blow wind and crack your cheeks, it feels pretty amazing,. It's like, as an audience member, I've given myself permission to not feel the need to ever watch a Shakespeare play again. John has seen only one Star Wars movie since the first one: Back of the Jedi.
