Lewis's the Moral Ecology
The second part of lewis's book is titled the way. It refers us back to a term that he introduces in the first lecture, where he talks about the do t a o,. He chooses this chinese term from confucian philosophy to denote this moral ecology. And so one of the more positive things that lewis is trying to communicate in this chapter is that reason is practical. We just see that our own goodness shouldn't take priority over somebody else's happiness.
