Mark Randolph is a co-founder of Netflix and he was the first CEO. He wrote this little anecdote after the Kent State shootings these activists walked into a local McDonald's and they said you got to lower the flagpole to half mass. The manager raised the flag back up and then the activists saw that the flag was back up and they came in and they said if you do not lower that flag we're gonna burn this place to the ground. So when the trucks there just ask them to back into the flagpole and knock it down right because what we often do is we get trapped in some kind of way in which we think that the only options that are on the table are the options
