The Effects of the Party State Model on Economic Modernization
I look at what is happening in China's economy with this increased growth of the party and it strikes me as just radically de formative. This was very much behind some of the discussion about separation of party and government in the 1980s. I wonder if you've seen or located any evidence anecdotal or otherwise that perhaps this party state model of governing an economy might be surprisingly efficacious to us sort of neo liberals here in Washington, DC.
