Introduction
Nikolas Rieski studied physics with Martin Lutcher at the University of Cologne in Germany. After becoming a professor at NYU which is coincidentally where Eta is now, he moved back to Germany and founded the Berlin Institute for Medical Systems Biology. The institute specializes in understanding human health and disease from a focus not so much on the individual molecules, but on their interactions.
