Claudius Gothicus and Saint Valentine
Claudius Gothicus is linked with Saint Valentine from the early medieval period. There are two accounts of the Martyrm of Valentine first from the 6th century and then the second version from the 8th century. They feature a Claudius being based at Rome. So somebody trying to claim a gaudian at some point. Oh yes there was one story that Claudius Gothicus has descended from the gaudians. Yes.
