Would they have known what tribe they were a part of or would some of that have been lost like in the exile or anything like that? That's a good question. Um, I would imagine that that's so important to your identity as a family and as a Jewish person that you would have kept that unless you were orphaned in the siege. And then somebody found you there's a possibility you wouldn't know your tribe. But I think it's probably intentional that the gospel writers don't include the tribes of any of the apostles.
