In this episode I talk to Sreeram Kannan founder of EigenLayer, a revolutionary new crypto protocol that is the foundation of an entire new wave of applications, use cases and brand new crypto concepts that are being born. Sreeram was a postdoctoral scholar at University of California, Berkeley and a visiting postdoc at Stanford University who was studying computational biology before founding EigenLayer. EigenLayer introduces a new concept commonly called "restaking" but more accurately called programable staking. It sounds complicated but I swear after listening to this podcast you should have a decent understanding of what it is and why it's important. Understanding how it works and why it's important is some of the most impactful alpha you can gain in the space....
