The Revolution in Cuba

There was a couple of important publications that came out in the early '60s about women's roles in Cuba. Margaret Randal published a series of interviews she had done with Cuban women. She interviewed women who had been really impoverished, working class women before the revolution. And then another real landmark was in 1975, Cuba passed something called the family code. In your book, you use the phrase, like, fortifying the family as sort of the ultimate goal of this.
