Rhetoric Is Being Reborn

Rhetoric was once considered a major part of literature. Once the romantic period took over, in terms of pedagogy, all this was gradually pushed out. In high school text books now that's based upon modernor romantic principles, there are very few speeches. This rebirth of rhetoric is part of what can be very broadly described as post modernism.
