The group consuming MCT oil lost about a quarter pound more fat per month which is statistically significant but pretty trivial in terms of bottom line results. It's also highly likely that the people involved in this study were not accurately tracking their food intake because if they were they would have lost four to ten times more weight than they did. Six of the papers showed moderate improvements in body weight eight failed to show any change in body weight one showed an improvement in satiety in fullness and four showed a small increase in energy expenditure but little to no weight loss.
