Is Diversity Really Good?
No one makes the case for what is so good about having a certain assortment of people from certain racial groups if they all think the same. There's not an argument for why that is actually better than having other ways of organizing things and maybe it is better but that argument never even gets made anymore. It reminds me of the famous anecdote in Tom Wolfe's radical chic about the black panther reception thrown at the Bernstein's apartment.
