The Importance of Praise in Songwriting

The Psalms are these songs but they tend to be associated with the relationship of God and his people because they're hymns. And so whenever we look at this I think it's helpful to say what kind of mood is the songwriter intending to communicate. Are things going well or are things going poorly, who would need to hear this kind of song? We get praise and praise is one of the reasons why I actually wanted to spend some time studying the PsalmsBecause praise is something that I'm not going to be able to hear.
