You Can Never Fully Overcome Bias, Right?
We're pretty bad at spotting our own biases, but we are good at spotting them in other people. You don't want to just offload everybody else's good results to luck. What you want to do is be as much as possible trying to tease out what luck is and what is skill - no matter whether you're looking at somebody else or looking at yourself. So if we can never fully overcome bias, which we kind of know we can't. Right? That doesn't mean that everything we already believe would be anti-accurate. We really try to encourage exploration of the truth. And I think this is useful. If you're not a poker player, it doesn't matter
