I Don't Believe in Sol Sleep
Some people adopt a perspective of something like soul sleep, which is to say that our souls have no activity at all between now and final judgment. We are told a lot more about the final judgment then we are about what we call the intermediate state, so the state after death, before the final judgment. I don't know if if we go through a tunnel kind of thing. The tunnels aren't actually universal. They're somewhat common in these experiences, but they're definitely not universal. And pepil describe these things differently.
