The flimsy nature of the official reasons for war led many to believe that oil was the root cause. If we didn't need the oil, then the natural next target would be to defend the currency. This is why we talk about the incorruptible money of bit coin being so important. Itit it prohibits these types of effects where you can centralize, monopolize the money in such a way that it actually dispossesses the economically vulnerable and further widens wealth disparities.
