Diddy's Life and Esquire
Many of the pieces in this collection of essays were originally published in either life or Esquire magazine. Life was going from being a weekly to a point where it was only released on like a special basis, like maybe quarterly through the early 70s until 78. When readers found out that the magazine was supporting author Clifford Irving's fraudulent autobiography of Howard Hughes they lost credibility as well. And Esquire is still going, I don't know if it's strong, but certainly it still exists.
